IAM So Smart

1KINGS 3:12 NLT I will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have!

People are weird complex beings.  We do dumb things, we self sabotage wonderful relationships, we argue for the sake of argument. Why?  Who knows?  People can make theories, and write long books about it.
Only God knows.  The wisdom that comes from God is higher and better than anything ever written or taught.

It’s awesome to me how the verse is written: Ask God to give you a wise and understanding HEART.  It didn’t say brain!
I truly believe at the root of it all, its our souls and hearts that control us.  And the solution to the major problems and darkness in this world: all start at the heart.
God can skillfully and powerfully empower you to move in the hearts of men, women, children, relatives, strangers.
Our creator can give us all the wisdom we need.
Just ask for it.  He will make you wicked smart and wise!
And not book smart, but people smart!

Unpacking the deep deep wounds and anger inside people is not an easy thing.  I don’t believe the path to that healing comes from book learning.  The wisdom to pray, give insight and compassion all comes from the Lord.

Whatever we need for the task and vision at hand, God will give it to us.  If we ask with faith

MARK 10:51-52 NLT “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked. “My Rabbi, ” the blind man said, “I want to see!” And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.

A simple conversation, not a whole long drawn out story about his past and how many years he has been wandering around.  What do I want?  I want to be healed!  I want the full healing!  I don’t need vision in one eye!  I want and believe you have all the power to give me healing in both eyes!

Jesus says, “your faith has healed you.”

Our deep deep belief that God will give us what we truly ask for is what can and will heal us.

And then the man followed Jesus down the road. God doesn’t make us wise for our sake. He makes us wise so we can be his followers doing his work
It’s time to stop saying things like:
“I am not smart”
“I can’t do that”
“I am not….”  Those lies cut you down!

Proclaim the truth,  Smile and look into your own eyes.   Whip out the selfie camera and look at your beautiful face
Hold the gaze for more than 10 seconds. And say it out loud!
