IAM a Rescuer

LUK 19:10 NLT For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.”

Jesus made it very clear what his purpose was during his time on earth.  He had one purpose: Seek and Save those who are lost.

That is oneness of purpose. Singularity of vision.

Bring dead people to life through Jesus.
I know people love to ask “What is my true calling in life?”

The answer is right there in the bible!
Jesus commanded us already!
To seek and save those who are lost.

Now that seems to simple, but the only thing that varies for any of us: Who, What, When, Where

Who will you minister to?
What will you do to minister to people? What way will you be the hand of God’s mercy to show people the Love of God?
When?  RIGHT NOW, no time to delay

Where? What city? What country? What people group?

That last part: of the who, what, when, where and how… thats the 5% specifics.

But 95% of the will of God has already been written for you life.

And as I am 39 going into the 2nd half of my life, I know clearly what my purpose is.
To get people into heaven, with whatever skills I have within me.

The last 5% is working itself out.
BUT! That doesn’t mean do absolutely nothing and sit around and wait.
That 5% changes for everyone, and it’s so important to be in communication with God.
Asking him to give us his heart.

IAM Called by God for one singular purpose, just like Jesus was
IAM a Rescuer
IAM a light to this world
IAM the salt of the earth
IAM looking for the lost.
IAM so thankful to be a part of a church that is singularly moving in that one purpose as well.

You have one purpose in this world.  It’s not just surviving, or hanging in there.  Seek and Save and find your own salvation and purpose along the way

If not us, then who?
