Hi, I had to get this down in words today. It’s a creed, a manifesto, a war cry. A summary, but not the end.
Do you ever hug someone, and it’s pretty weak or empty?
And then you hug someone else, and they really squeeze you Almost taking the breath out of you?
I can admit that in the area of hugging, I still need some work and I am improving.
It’s my prayer to become a world class hugger!
One of my daughters is less than 9 years old and she is truly full of love and a world class grade a hugger! I need to learn from her for sure!
God forgives my sins, so I must forgive others.
It’s a natural overflow of my heart because, I have been set free.
I hope its not in the feeling of, well, God won’t forgive me of my sins, so I better forgive that other person. That’s begrudging and in all truth not genuine.
Hate what is wrong! This is the only time I ever use this word. HATE. HATE Evil, Hate the sin that destroys, Hate the lies that hurt us and hold us back.
You have wounds, I have wounds, and if we spend more time focus-sing on ourselves and thinking about what’s in it for me, then we have zero time or motivation to ever love one another.
We lash out, hurt, verbally or physically abuse each other, because we are hurting inside. That’s the way of the world.
The perfect opposite of hate is Love. Hold tightly to God’s Love!
Ask God to fill your heart with his perfect Love!
God’s love heals your wounds. God’s love casts out all lies.
And God’s love is what allows us to truly love each other.
Take delight in honoring each other. When I think about taking delight, I see people standing up and clapping for each other. Celebrating the win’s. Taking the time to just verbally encourage and bless each other. Not just the people we are supposed to love, but what about the strangers too?
And it’s my wish and prayer for you as well!
IAM A Genuine hugger
I honor my brothers and sisters
I take delight in blessing them
1 Corinthians 1:18 NLT The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.
More than just being quirky or eccentric, I wonder if people see my life and think that something isn’t right with that person. In some ways, if we are really doing what God wants us to do, our actions may set off a lot of head scratching.
Many heroes of our faith did some crazy stuff at first glance.
I am not trading in my slim jeans and white belt for burlap and leather sandals. But, am I fitting in with the ways of this world? Or am I sticking firm to the standards of our Lord? And why am I holding firm to those standards? For the sake of just being right or for the purpose of living in the power of God to be able to help others see the gospel?
From 1 Corinthians 18 to 13 , it’s chock full of wisdom and power!
And as we look in any of the accounts of Jesus, it seemed as he was Mr. Opposite! Eating dinner with sinners and tax collectors, hiring fisherman to be his disciples, associating and speaking to Samaritan women.
Verse 25 bring some power, if you are willing to hear it: 25 This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength.
The greatest, smartest, coolest, most intelligent plan I could ever come up with to do anything, is absolute horse dung compared to what God has cooked up!
The world’s strongest man, is a puny wimp compared to the God’s weakness!
Am I living the paradoxical life of Christ? I know the only way I can do that is if I continue to spend time with God, and being transformed into his image. As more and more of my life is changed into Christlikeness, then God’s wisdom and ways start to dominate everything I do.
When I see the panhandler on the street, do I think, I can’t spare change for you, because I know it’s going straight to your drug and alcohol fund? Or can I start to gain the mind and heart of Christ and bring the real power for transformation of someone else’s heart by being the hand of mercy?
As a father of 2 independent wonderful children, I have learned one thing. No one can change the mind of another person. No power or strength can get a 6 year old to eat her vegetables! Only when they decide it’s good for them. And they see the good in that choice.
The same with the people in your life that don’t know God (yet!). Only God can speak to their heart and mind. We can only do our best to be a reflection of the life and love of Christ to them. Trust me, they are watching us. But it’s the power of the Cross that breaks through their reasoning. And we pray and beg God to audibly speak to them and make it undeniable that He loves them and wants them!
When I am tempted to use the world’s ways to solve a problem, I ask God to give me the strength to get on my knees and pray for kingdom wisdom. To show me the way of the cross which is most powerful.
IAM a Fool for God!
IAM a Paradox of Love
IAM a Messenger of the Cross
JEREMIAH 29:11-13 NLT For I know the plans I have for you,” says the lord . “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
My definition for greatness: Serving the needs of the many.
God has an amazing plan for my life and yours.
None of those plans involve disaster. That’s good right?
God’s plan is to give us a future and a hope.
To give us positive expectations for a better life.
To give us hope that life is going to be abundant.
I don’t see anything about life being 6 days of suffering for a couple moments of pleasure.
I don’t see anything in the bible about murphy’s law.
But somehow these attitudes and mindsets have invaded our society and thinking
Let’s remove these lies from our thinking and embrace the truth in our identity and our God.
Pray, and look for God wholeheartedly. Then we will find God.
Promise: you WILL FIND ME.
Promise: When you pray, I WILL LISTEN!
Promise: If we look for God wholeheartedly, WE WILL FIND HIM!
Did you ever turn over your whole house just to look for one missing thing? Let’s have that same posture and aggression when its comes to looking for God.
IAM Destined for Greatness
IAM Hopeful for the Future
When I Pray, God will Listen
When I seek wholeheartedly, I Will Find Him

Mark 12:30 And you must love the lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’
What do we think about the most?
All the time? What is our default?
What is the first website we visit everyday?
Can we take some time to examine our thoughts and reflections and activities.
And I can be honest, it’s not God all the time. I have stress, fears, anger and doubts.
But I want to Love God freely and joyously.
What is my prayer? That my Love, passion, thoughts and everything would be consumed by God.
I don’t want to do it, because it’s a commandment.
Just because I really love Him.
GOD! I want to love you More!
That’s my Prayer!
Romans 8:35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?
Jesus is alive, He is loving me right now
He is at the right hand of God.
Nothing can separate Me from the Love of Christ. Even now.
His love is not a past tense, or a love of someone who is gone or dead.
The verse also makes it pretty clear: You have zero guarantee of avoiding persecution, hunger, destitution, danger, or threat of death.
But You will have his love. And is that enough for you?
My Prayer is that my life will be filled with Love. And that God’s love will pour out from me, into others and back to God.
